Blueprint Printing in Cape Coral, FL

Not every order is a fifteen-set commercial package. In Cape Coral, most of them aren’t.

The typical Cape order is one set. Sometimes two. A single-family plan set, a site plan for a permit, a survey that needs to be readable, a pool or seawall detail sheet that has to go to the city. Small, specific, and needed this week. Precision Blueprint Co. prints those — no account required, and no reason to buy fifty dollars of printing when you need six dollars of printing.

One Set Is a Real Order

A lot of print shops treat a single-set order like an inconvenience. We don’t, because a single set is the most common thing a Cape Coral builder or trade actually needs.

Order one full-scale Arch D set for the job. Order one 11×17 copy for the truck. Order one site plan sheet because that’s the only page the inspector cares about. All fine. All normal.

Upload the file at pblueprints.com, send it to orders@pblueprints.com, or call 941-212-1707. You pay at order, we print, and it goes out on the Lee County route or waits for pickup — whichever you’d rather do.

Site Plans, Surveys, and Aerial Maps

Cape Coral is a lot-by-lot city. Tens of thousands of platted lots, canal frontage on a huge share of them, and a permit process where the site plan does most of the talking.

Site plans

Setbacks, lot coverage, driveway and pool location, drainage. Print it full scale — a site plan that’s been reduced to fit letter paper isn’t a site plan, it’s a picture of one.

Surveys

Usually the sheet that arrives as a scan of a scan. If it’s legible in the file, we can put it on paper at full size. If it isn’t, we’ll tell you before you pay for it.

Aerial and parcel maps

Aerial and parcel map prints are useful for canal lots, corner lots, and anything where the neighbors’ improvements matter to your submittal. Good for a submittal package, good for a client walkthrough, good taped to the trailer wall.

Detail sheets

Seawall sections, dock and lift details, pool sections, truss layouts. Often the only sheets a specialty trade needs — so print those and skip the rest of the package.

If your project is going through City of Cape Coral Development Services, their current submittal requirements govern what you hand in. We print to match the requirement.

The Trades We Print For in the Cape

Cape Coral’s build mix runs different from Fort Myers proper. It’s less commercial corridor and more single-family, waterfront, and specialty work.

Pool contractors
Pool sections, deck layouts, equipment locations.
Seawall and marine contractors
Seawall sections, dock and boat lift details, elevations.
Plumbers
Under-slab rough-in, water and sewer connections.
Electricians
Panel schedules, service locations, riser diagrams.
Framers and truss crews
Structural sheets, truss layouts, connection details.
Owner-builders
The whole set, printed once, correctly. If you’re building your own house in the Cape and this is your first plan set, you’re not going to know what Arch D is, and you shouldn’t have to. Send us the PDF your designer gave you. We’ll check the title block, tell you what it is, and print it right.

11″ × 17″ · half of an Arch D sheet

The Copy That Lives in the Truck

The half-size set is underrated in the Cape, because the trades here spend the whole day moving between lots. An 11×17 copy fits on a clipboard, fits in a truck cab without folding it three times, and costs a fraction of a full-scale reprint.

Common Cape order: one Arch D set, folded, for the job — plus two 11×17 copies for the truck and the office.
SheetSizeWhat it’s good for
Arch D24″ × 36″Layout, dimensions, the work itself — our default
11×1711″ × 17″Markup, photos back to the office, clipboard review

What half-size is not: the sheet your crew lays out from. Small dimensions and dense notes get hard to read at 11×17. Keep the full-scale set for the work and use half-size for the markup. We break down the tradeoff in blueprint paper sizes explained.

One note for the water side: if the drop point is a lot with no structure and no lockbox yet, tell us where you actually want the plans left. A bagged set on an open lot is a bagged set in the weather. We’d rather leave it with you, at your shop, or at a neighbor’s job box than guess.

Printed by an Engineering Firm’s Print Room

Precision Blueprint Co. is a division of Creek Engineering. For a single-set Cape Coral order, that shows up in one place: nobody here is confused by what you sent.

If your designer’s PDF is the wrong scale, if two sheets in the set are sized differently, if the survey is too low-resolution to print legibly — we catch it and call you first. It’s the difference between paying once and paying twice. We print plans. We don’t stamp them, submit them, or approve them.

Questions From Cape Coral Jobs

Is there a minimum order for blueprint printing in Cape Coral?

No. One set is a normal order, and so is one sheet. Most Cape Coral jobs are single-family or specialty trade work that needs a small, specific print — that’s what we’re set up for.

Can you print a site plan or survey for a Cape Coral permit?

Yes. We print site plans, surveys, and detail sheets at full scale so setbacks, dimensions, and notes stay legible for the reviewer. Check City of Cape Coral Development Services’ current submittal requirements and we’ll print to match. We print the plans; we don’t submit them or provide engineering approval.

Do you print aerial and parcel maps for Cape Coral lots?

Yes. Aerial and parcel map prints are useful for canal lots, corner lots, and submittal packages where surrounding improvements matter. They also work well for client walkthroughs and trailer walls.

Do you deliver blueprints to Cape Coral job sites?

Yes. Cape Coral is inside our Lee County delivery route — folded set, large Ziploc, Precision sticker, dropped where you designate. If the lot is empty with nowhere secure to leave a set, tell us and we’ll deliver to your shop or another address instead.

What if I don’t know what size my plans are supposed to be?

Send the file. Most people don’t know, and it’s not a problem. The title block in the bottom-right corner of the drawing tells us the sheet size, and if it came from a designer or engineer it’s almost certainly Arch D (24×36) — our default.
