Sarasota County · Delivered, not picked up
You’re not driving to Port Charlotte to pick up plans. Nobody in Sarasota has that hour.
So we bring them to you. Precision Blueprint Co. runs plan sets north into Sarasota and Sarasota County — to job sites, to trailers, and to design and construction offices that need a printed set in hand before a meeting. Upload the file, tell us where it’s going, and it shows up.
Sets going to a job site come folded in a large Ziploc with a Precision sticker carrying the order info, so it survives being handed between four people.
Sets going to an office come rolled in a tube or bound, depending on what you’re doing with them.
Delivery fees scale with distance from Port Charlotte. Sarasota is a regular run for us, not a special trip.

Charlotte County work is mostly straightforward residential and light commercial. Sarasota isn’t. Between downtown infill, the barrier islands, Lakewood Ranch, and a custom residential market that runs through architects rather than plan books, a real share of Sarasota work arrives as a designed set — not a stock set. That changes what comes out of the plotter.
If your set is one of those, tell us at order. The finishing changes, not just the paper.
36″ × 48″ · dual-roll, no roll swap
Our plotter is dual-roll, so an Arch E set doesn’t get scheduled around — it runs. If your architect drew at 36×48 and you print it down to Arch D, dimensions shrink and the fine detail work you paid for stops being readable. Print it at the size it was drawn.
High-resolution color output for the sheet that’s going in front of a client, a board, or a lender. Different paper decision, different quality bar than a field set.
Strip binding on the end so the set stays in order and holds up through a meeting. This is the opposite of a field set — nobody’s folding it into a truck cab. It goes on a conference table and it needs to look like it belongs there.
And when the same project also needs twelve field sets for the subs, we run both off the same file, same day. The presentation set and the job box set don’t have to come from two vendors.

A lot of Sarasota projects need two versions of the same plan set.
| Version | Size | Who gets it |
|---|---|---|
| Full-scale set | Arch D or Arch E | Permit, field crews, trades doing layout |
| Half-size set | 11″ × 17″ | Supers, PMs, estimators, anyone reviewing rather than building |
The half-size copy is the one that lives on a clipboard or in a truck. It’s cheaper, it’s lighter, and it’s the right tool for markup. It is not the right tool for a crew reading small dimensions — that’s a full-scale job. We cover the tradeoff in detail in blueprint paper sizes explained.
8 towns on the Sarasota route
Sarasota proper, plus the rest of the county on the same route — including the Fruitville Road and Clark Road corridors. North Port sits at the south end of Sarasota County and runs on our Charlotte County route. Either way, it’s covered.
If your project is submitting to the county rather than the City of Sarasota, Sarasota County Planning and Development Services publishes the current plan submittal requirements. Different reviewers, different checklists — we print to match whichever one you’re going through.
For anything outside the delivery counties, we ship FedEx 2-day at a flat rate, rolled in a tube or folded flat.
Precision Blueprint Co. is the print division of Creek Engineering. That’s a different starting point than a general print shop that also happens to own a wide-format machine.
The practical difference: we’ve read a lot of plan sets. We know what a title block is telling us, we know when a sheet is going to come out unreadable at the size you asked for, and we’ll say so before we run twelve copies of it. We don’t stamp drawings and we don’t approve anything — but you’re not explaining what Arch E is to the person taking your order.

Not sure whether your set should run Arch D or Arch E? Send the file. The title block answers it in about ten seconds. Precision Blueprint Co. is a division of Creek Engineering — 1720 El Jobean Rd STE 110, Port Charlotte, FL 33948.
Yes. Sarasota and Sarasota County are inside our regular delivery route. Field sets arrive folded in a large Ziploc with a Precision sticker showing the order info, dropped wherever on the site you designate. Office deliveries can come rolled in a tube or bound. Delivery fees scale with distance from our Port Charlotte print room.
Yes. We run a dual-roll HP DesignJet T-2600, so Arch E sets print without a roll swap. Sarasota sends us more Arch E than anywhere else in our territory — large commercial, multi-building packages, and full architectural sets. If your architect drew at 36×48, print it at 36×48.
Yes. We print high-resolution color renderings, elevations, and color-coded plan sheets, and we can strip-bind a set on the end so it holds together through a meeting. Tell us at order that it’s a presentation set — the finishing decision is different from a field set.
The printing is the fast half — orders that reach us during business hours run the same day, one set or eight. Delivery then goes out on our regular Sarasota route rather than as a special trip, so it’s the route that sets your date, not the plotter. Call 941-212-1707 with your deadline before you order.
We print full-scale permit sets to whatever your reviewing authority requires — the city and the county maintain separate submittal checklists. We print the plans; we don’t submit them and we don’t provide engineering approval.
Same print room, same Arch D default. The lead time and the packaging change with the drive.
